Strong leadership.

An agile team from different property management disciplines also needs strong leadership. For DeWAG, good leadership means bringing our corporate values to life every day. And this special responsibility is lived with passion by our management.

The management.

Michael Herzog is Managing Director of DeWAG Wohnen and in this role is responsible for transactions, project development and technical management. His particular focus is on the continuous further development of sustainably managed residential property. The business administration graduate began his professional career at the DeWAG Group in 2004 and was responsible for asset management from 2008 to 2011. As a triathlete and family man, he knows how to successfully harmonise performance and care.

Dr Joachim von Klitzing is Managing Director and responsible for Legal, Finance, Human Resources and IT at DeWAG. After studying law and economics, he worked for international companies in the areas of property investment banking and property investment management. He is also a passionate hockey player and always brings the right team spirit to the team.

As Managing Director, Anne Rohrbeck is responsible for Asset Management as well as Sales and Letting. After studying property management, she initially worked for Cushman & Wakefield and Knight Frank. She joined DeWAG Wohnen as Senior Asset Manager in 2014, later took over as Regional Manager for Southern Germany and has now been part of the management team since 2023. Whether skiing, jogging or travelling, the urge to move and the explorer gene are in her nature. Qualities that she also brings to bear in her entrepreneurial development.

The founder.

Helmut Beyl is the founder and shareholder of the DeWAG Group. He began his professional career in banking, but soon discovered his passion for property. Helmut Beyl has now been working in the property industry for more than 35 years. He has held management positions at well-known property investment and service companies - including over 20 years at the DeWAG Group. As a passionate marathon runner, he is used to going the extra mile. As an aesthete, Helmut Beyl loves good design. And you can see that in one or two of the properties we manage.
